For a time I worked on retainer with Edumaxi Ltd., working on a variety of design and communication consulting needs, including brand marketing, instructional design products, trans-media and production management, being paired up to work directly with their clients in the education, and business consulting sector. I was also tasked with giving them a brand refresh during my time with them as well.
They are an established New Zealand-based company who work globally, including most of the major private education providers in Asia, XDF (New Oriental), as well as global entities like McGraw-Hill Education and National Geographic Learning. Helping launch new programs, curricula, or entirely new private institutions, as well as planning and developing content for APAC and US state education providers. This was a really rewarding realm where I worked on bi-lingual omni-channel resources, print, digital, environmental, and interactive content – I even got to work on toy design and pop-up books! Amongst many other things.
Valuable aspects of this experience were honing skills in project management, client relations, and working collaboratively with globally-dispersed teams.
